ScriptUI is a vast topic that we can't just pick up and not touch upon on the resources, which are proudly called "SCRIPTS for InDesign".
In the fourth block of the video tutorials of the course “JavaScript for Adobe InDesign...” , we will consider such features of the development of the user interface windows, thanks due to which working with these windows will bring the user much greater (compared to the publicly available) comfort.

New (old) script
This script was created back in 2010, and even posted on the Web, but here on the author’s site, it has been undeservedly forgotten for some time, like some other scripts. At the same time, it has not lost its relevance, even though Adobe InDesign has already gone through so many versions. Time to correct this mistake and let this script take the place it deserves.
The script RemoveCharStylesFromText.jsx removes character styles from text formatted with certain paragraph styles. The process is fully user-driven. Read more on the script page.
