Hi! I have several documents that use the same paragraph styles. I have all the files in a book so if I change something I can synchronies. But in the heat of the moment I sometimes make changes in one of the documents and forgets to synchronize. So... I am looking for a script where I can compare paragraph styles from different files (same name on paragraph style) and only see the difference between them. Do you know if there is something like that existing? Kind regards Jeanette

New (old) script

This script was created back in 2010, and even posted on the Web, but here on the author’s site, it has been undeservedly forgotten for some time, like some other scripts. At the same time, it has not lost its relevance, even though Adobe InDesign has already gone through so many versions. Time to correct this mistake and let this script take the place it deserves.
The script RemoveCharStylesFromText.jsx removes character styles from text formatted with certain paragraph styles. The process is fully user-driven. Read more on the script page.

New (old) script

A script written six years ago was found, which will still work without any problems under the CS6 version, but, for some reason, has not been posted on the site yet. I am in a hurry to fix this. The script is for changing the language in text styles and in the text. It will be useful when composing the literature materials with the same content in several languages, due to which you have to change one language to another in text styles. The script will allow you to perform this task much faster and better than manually.
